Jodie was an underwriter in governmental risk pooling (CSDSIP & CIRSA) for almost 9 years before joining the private sector in 2019. Working for a high volume/high turnover work comp focused insurance brokerage which seemed to focus solely on "the close," she knew there was a better way to merge the client care and support she held dearly from risk pooling with savings opportunity found in the open markets. Ascent was launched in March of 2021 and we've had great success in the build-out while helping entities of all sizes and types with their specialty insurance risks!
